Joe Biden refuses to take questions from journalists as domestic concerns begin to mount

President Joe Biden has once again avoided taking questions from the media, despite mounting concerns about supply chain disruptions, which could see gifts not arrive in time for the US festive season.

President Biden held a forum at the White House to address the issue, announcing to the waiting press pack that the Port of Los Angeles will begin to operate 24/7 in order to handle more goods amid growing backlogs.

He then walked off without taking any questions from the gathered media.

Before taking office, Joe Biden had promised his administration would be transparent when it comes to disseminating information to the American people.

However, the President has been strongly criticised after refusing to take questions on several high profile occasions.
